BASIC INFORMATION


Google tag manager allows us to imply or affix all the necessary tags which are required for your site from one place. It helps you to manage your different tags according to their need. 

Suppose you have so many different tags on your site, so GTM will allow you to access the timing of triggering those tags whenever you need.

HOW TO MAKE ACCOUT ON GOOGLE TAG MANEGER (GTM)

1. Search Google tag manager on google search        bar.





2. Go for the first search result on google.
you will see a page something like this.

3. Click on the "Start for free" button. and click          on "Create account" button and a web page            like the one given below will appear.


Fill all the information asked there in account setup.
  • Account name :- company name.
  • Country:- eg (India).
   Then fill all the information asked in the container setup section.
  • Container name :- eg (website.com)
  • Target platform :- WEB
then click on the create button.

4. After doing so you will get two codes which you have to paste it between <head> "script" </head> (as near as possible) tag and another one between your <body>"script"</body> (just after the body tag.

This way you are gonna create your gtm account and dashboard and manage all your tags from a single place.
