 WHAT IS SITEMAP?

Sitemap is a kind of map that inform or tell google about your pages, quantity of pages, the changes that you make on your pages, and the time you publish your post.

Another benifit of sitemap is that it navigates google bot and tells it, which page to index and which not to. It creates an ease for google bot to crawl your page and bring it to search engine.

HOW TO GENERATE SITEMAP FOR YOUR BLOGSPOT BLOG

There are so many sites that provide you the service to generate your blog's sitemap but I would suggest you www.labnol.org 

First of all go to your bloggers dashboard and click on "view blog". copy the URL of your blog from the search bar.

1. Type labnol.org on the search bar.

    A page something like this will open in your dashboard.

2. Paste the URL of your blog in the space given and click on the GENERATE SITEMAP button.

3. Copy the sitemap.

4. Again go back to the dashboard of your blog and click on the setting menu.

5. Then go down and look for the robot.txt button.

6. Then paste your copied code on the space given there.

7. Next thing that you have to do is visit your google search console dashboard and click on the site map button.

8. you will see a page like this where the URL of your blog is written after the " / " type " sitemap.xml " and click on submit button.

WAIT FOR FEW HOURS OR DAYS YOUR SITEMAP WILL BE CROWLED BY THE BOT.
